“Wind Jammers” Trailer

Set in the Bahamas, this funny and uplifting family film follows 16-year-old Justice as she overcomes racial prejudice and brings change to her community — all while having the time of her life learning to sail!

Uprooted from her life in Chicago, Justice moves with her dad to the Bahamas where his job is relocated. There she discovers a new passion: competitive sailing. The fact that she is of mixed race doesn’t go down well with the founding members of the local yacht club, who conspire to get both Justice and her dad banned from the club. When she meets a handsome young yachtsman, Justice learns that the annual yacht race was once open to all islanders, but is now a members-only affair. Come race day, she makes a decision that will not only affect the outcome of the race but the everyday lives of all who live on the island. Michael Ray Brown co-wrote the script, which was filmed on location in the Bahamas.
